The akewa* vertical solution for Box and Package Identification Management needs just a part number and customer code to enable you to automatically identify the label format and print the correct labels for your boxes and small packages.
At the end of the print process, the system will store the batch number that has been generated under EAN 128 (Soon to be known as GS128) standards.
Data Collection is possible using a barcode reader or through keyboard entry. All data captured is stored in the internal database. Some or all of the data may be exported to your E.R.P. or W.M.S.
The data record will include as a minimum: user code, unique transaction number, part number or product code, customer code and the batch number.
Thanks to the ‘Table Manager’ tool you can select, sort, modify and print any records. It also allows a very quick search and find of the batch number and origin of the product.
The application includes akewa* Design with which you are able to print labels under the EAN/UCC standards where you can locate information such as customer, transportation, company, product etc..
Important : Your Box/Package solution will be automatically personalised based on your business activity (GS1 Organisation – 18 Vertical activities plus sub activities).
