January 2007 : Update of WInventory application in akewa* DataCollection/Mobility range for Pocket PC .NET CE 4.2 & 5.0 environment.

WInventory allows doing your inventories for one or more warehouses, site or area. Inventory works in open mode and can be reused and completed even you decide to close the inventory. Part number can be created on the flight or can be uploaded from the PC database. Inventory application can memorize the article serial number also.

WInventory integrates features to use the stock in and stock out movement of your goods. You have also the possibility to reprint your article from a printer directly connected on the PDA (Paxar PDA model) or from the print server located on the PC. Label printing can be drive in local mode or drive to a network printer using or not WIFI connexion.

WInventory PC allows creating and managing the user rights for PDA access (user account protected by login and password).

The WInventory Pocket PC (PDA) Wizard allows customizing the different menu and features of the software. Messages and texts can also be customized in order to create your inventory regarding your activity.

W-inventory can be used to register and manage your warehouse stock and your fixed assets. You can also link photo’s and other data to the asset file so that you can keep track of the history of all your depreciating assets.

Our akewa* W-Inventory is compatible with all hand held computers running under the operating system of Microsoft (Dot Net) with or without barcode reader.

Can I read the product having a barcode to identify them faster ?

At any time, you have the choice to identify the product either manually or by using a barcode reader.

Can I import from my existing stock system ?

Of course, you can import data from over 25 types of database (Excel, Access, Oracle, SQL, SAP…).

Where will I store all the inventory data ?

The information will be stored either in SQL or an Access database. It’s up to you ! After analysis and potential modifications, you will be able to send the updated files back to central system for inventory.
